Ski mountaineering center MOVEMENT, SCARPA

This year, in cooperation with ALPSPORT, we present a new ski touring test centre. It offers MOVEMENT skis with light pin bindings and SCARPA boots. We also offer guided ski tours, where you can learn the basics of ski touring or go down Sněžka. Find out more in the Sports Activities section. 

Although there is no need to introduce MOVEMENT skis to experienced ski tourers and free-riders, with their return to the Czech market we would like to bring the brand to the public’s attention. In 1999, Richard Cattaneo and Serge Baud (The Freeski Company) started working on the development of skis with unique design in Vevey, near Laussane in Switzerland. After three years of development, they started marketing their skis which soon became an iconic brand for young skiers and lovers of free-ride, freestyle, ski-touring and telemark.

Innovation and tradition are the two elements strongly rooted in the SCARPA® brand, which has been run by the Parisotto family in

Asol inNorthern Italy. The company has been involved in footwear production since 1938. Its history proves a huge innovative potential and a lasting emphasis on high quality in all respects. SCARPA® is a great inspiration for many other manufacturers.
